Christmas 2009
This was a very busy time for me! I got lots of cool presents and I got to move into my own big boy room! Mommy and Daddy decorated it with Cars! I love it! Plus, I have my own bed. No more baby stuff for me! We also had a Christmas party at school with my friends. Then I had my star performance as a reindeer at school. The preacher called me the runaway reindeer, because I kept going off stage. Whatever that means! Anyways, I am sure I will be a star some day! I also got to go sledding in the snow with Daddy and the boys next door! We had a great time!

Holiday time!
22 months old! Well, I went to see Santa! What a scary man! Mommy said hopefully next year I will do better with Santa, I don’t think so Mommy. I am still having fun with my play group. Grandma and Grandpa Jackson sent me the coolest early Christmas present; it is a DVD player for the car! I love to watch Cars on it! I love Cars! I will not watch any other movie. We went to grandma GiGi’s and Grandpa Mitch’s for Thanksgiving. I got to eat lots of food and see Uncle Greg and Aunt Dallas. I had a great time playing with Uncle Greg! I also got to go to Monkey Joe’s one last time before they closed. Daddy got to come this time and he got to slide down the slides with me! I had a great time! We also put the tree up, which I am still not allowed to touch but very interested in the lights! I have also been going to chapel a lot a school now and also been practicing for my upcoming debut in the school Christmas program. I am going to star as a reindeer! Can’t wait for mommy and daddy to see me!
Mr. Independent
21 months old! What changing times these are! My personality is really starting to show through, as well as my red hair when it is long enough. My four wheeler is still my favorite outside activity. I am becoming very independent. I enjoy brushing my teeth and washing my hands. I am so proud of all that I can do! Sometimes I am a little big for my britches, but other than that all is well. I have an understanding of what I am to be doing in my time out chair. Halloween was a blast! Daddy and I had a great time carving the pumpkins that I picked at the pumpkin patch with my play group. Mommy baked the seeds for us and even made me some pumpkin muffins, yummy! I was Dr. Austin James Howard! Mommy and I went to a few houses. I sure love eating candy!

Busy body!
20 months old! WOW! This has been a very exciting month for me! I get to meet with my playgroup once a week now and I am the only boy with 3 girls, doesn’t get any better than that! I got to start my Mother’s Morning Out preschool class and mommy is going to be the room mom! Mommy has also been able to do some scrapbooking. So, the other day while mommy was in the shower I wanted a little snack. So, I went to the pantry and got me a bag of chips and sat on the couch just like Daddy does and feasted on some chips! Yummy! We were over to neighbor Sharon’s house the other day. While Mommy and Ms. Sharon were talking I was sitting in the sandbox saying “I play” every time they would look at me. Then when I was exploring the yard her boys came walking up and I said “Hi” then I said “Cat” and point to their cat Bella, so they were aware of her. I was so proud of myself for telling the boys what lies ahead! I have been such a busy body lately. Mommy tried transitioning me from 2 to 1 nap a day, it did not work I am still a 2 a day napper. The fire department came to my school to visit and teach fire safety this month. I had a lot of fun playing on the fire truck. Mommy and grandma went to Montreat one weekend, so It was just me and daddy all weekend! My hats from at Stephanie came in the mail that weekend as well! Yea!
