Christmas time!

I am now 8 months old! Christmas time is such a busy time! We got to see Austin at his school Christmas pageant. He decided to get off stage and play this year. The director had to go and get him and his friends. It was fun to watch. We also got to go see Santa! He was a very nice man. Austin was scared of him, but I sat in his lap and smiled. I got to take my first bath in the big tub this month. I had such a good time splashing around! It was lots of fun! I also got my first tooth! Yea! I am such a big girl! It was Austin’s birthday too. Grandma GiGi came into town and we had a party with Austin and his friends from school! It also snowed while we were there! It sure was pretty! Then that weekend Grandma and Grandpa Howard come to town. Austin sure has a lot of presents now! Mommy and Daddy got him a cool train set, but brother will not let me play with it. Maybe when I get older he will. Daddy built a table for it, so now I can’t even reach it.

Thanksgiving!

I am now 7 months old! This month was kind of crazy with mommy being gone a lot training for work. We did our family Christmas pictures this month and I smiled real pretty! Austin on the other had was not so cooperative. We went to grandma GiGi’s and Grandpa Mitch’s for Thanksgiving! On the ride in daddy pulled into their neighborhood really fast and Austin yelled “Wooo daddy, careful!” Grandma and Grandpa Howard came too! We had lots of fun! I also got to go to Austin’s preschool Thanksgiving meal. They had pizza! I got to see lots of kids running around. It was fun! One day……I will be able to run like that too!

Halloween time!

I can’t believe am now 6 months old! This is half of a year! I now weigh 15 pounds and 13 ounces. I am 26.4 inches tall. My weight hasn’t changed much, so I am now drinking formula. I didn’t like it at first, but its okay. This has been a fun month full of new discoveries. I enjoy playing with my brother a lot. He is lots of fun! Mommy and daddy went out of town to the beach this month, so grandma GiGi came to stay with Austin and I. We had a great time! Mommy called and talked to Austin and he said "I love you mama!" Mommy was so happy! For Halloween we got to carve a pumpkin and go trick or treating. We got to be Pebbles and BamBam. Not sure who they are, but mommy and GiGi made our costumes. We sure were cute! This has been a hard time for Austin and I. Mommy got and job with the hospital. It didnt effect me much, but Austin is having a hard time adjusting. Neighbor Sharon comes to watch us in the afternoons until daddy gets home from work. I have been very busy this month trying to get around. Never a dull moment in the Howard house!

Fall time

I am now 5 months old! I weigh 15 pounds, 1 ounce and I am 25 1/2 inches tall! I am getting so big now! Austin is 37 inches and 32 pounds. I love to make loud squeal noises that drive everyone crazy! I don’t know why people cannot understand what I am trying to say! Austin has been having a good time at school. He did get into some trouble, but he is getting better. He likes to pile toys on top of my, so that I have something to play with on our five minute drive to drop him off at school. Grandma GiGi came into town and helped mommy make our Halloween costumes. Austin and I are going to be Pepples and BamBam, whoever they are. Austin likes to run around screaming BamBam, it must be fun, I am not quite sure. It is now football season, so that is what we do on Saturdays now. We watch football all day! I am not sure the point really, all they do is throw the ball, tackle each other and run around. Austin likes to yell “Roll Tide” all the time now. Daddy taught him that. Not sure what it means, but mommy doesn’t like it. My favorite things to do right now are chew on my finger, eat cereal, playing in my Exersaucer, playing in my car (Austin pushes me around in it) and play with my brother. The weather is starting to get nice, so we have been spending a lot of time outside. I enjoy sitting on the deck with mommy watching Austin play on the playset. I also enjoy laughing, I am a little giggle box! I think I am getting this eating thing down too. Now, if I just had some teeth! :)
